What's happening
Dropbox has no folder picker in RecordFlow, because Dropbox doesn’t offer one for apps like this: it creates a dedicated folder for RecordFlow and grants access to that alone. Two things then make it hard to find by name. Dropbox names the folder that contains it in your account language — it is Apps only if your Dropbox is in English — and you’re free to rename the RecordFlow folder itself. Inside it, recordings are organized by year, then one folder per meeting: RecordFlow → 2026 → 2026-03-21 – Weekly Standup.
The fast fix
- 1Open your RecordFlow dashboard and click the link on any synced meeting in your sync history. That opens that meeting’s folder in Dropbox — the surrounding folders are its parents.
- 2No synced meetings yet? Open dropbox.com and search for RecordFlow. The folder is near the top level, inside the apps folder for your account language.
- 3Open the year folder, then the Date – Meeting Topic folder for your meeting.
Other ways to fix it
- Use the email. If you have email notifications on, each “recordings are ready” email links straight to the archived files.
- Search by meeting topic. Dropbox search covers the app folder, so searching for the meeting’s topic finds the recording without knowing the path.
- You can rename or move the folder. RecordFlow addresses it as “my app folder” rather than by name, so renaming it doesn’t break syncing — which is also why we can’t tell you a single path that’s right for every account.
- Why is there no “Open folder” button? Unlike the other destinations, Dropbox doesn’t give an app a link to its own app folder root, so the dashboard hides the button rather than guessing a URL. The per-meeting links in your sync history are real links and do work.
- Admin app: each team member’s recordings live in a sub-folder named after them:
RecordFlow → Member Name → Year → Date – Meeting Topic. - Nothing arrived at all? Start with my recordings aren’t syncing — a local (not cloud) recording is the usual cause.
