Connecting YouTube
- Email support@recordflow.org and we'll enable YouTube on your account.
- Choose YouTube on the connect screen and sign in with the Google account that owns your channel.
- RecordFlow asks for permission to upload videos and to read your own channel back. It cannot change or delete videos it didn't create, and cannot touch your channel settings.
Where your recordings land
Your own YouTube channel, as a private video titled with the meeting topic and date. There are no folders — the video is the top-level thing. In the admin app that also means no per-member sub-folders: every archived member's recordings land in the one channel.
What gets archived
- The video recording, uploaded as a private video on your channel
What it doesn’t archive
- Transcripts, chat logs and AI Companion summaries — YouTube stores videos, not files, so there is nowhere to put them. Pick a file destination if you need these.
- Audio-only recordings — YouTube rejects an upload with no video track.
Deleting the Zoom original after archiving
Not available for YouTube. YouTube re-encodes every upload, so what it stores is never a byte-for-byte copy of what RecordFlow sent. RecordFlow will not delete a Zoom original it cannot verify, so auto-delete stays off for this destination even if you've enabled it.

Other destinations
One destination per account, and you can switch at any time — recordings already archived stay where they are, only new ones move.
